How it works
From hourly rate to payslip
First we turn your pay into an annual salary using your working pattern: hourly pay × hours per week × 52, daily pay × days per week × 52, weekly pay × 52, or monthly pay × 12.
Then we apply that country's income tax and statutory deductions for the year: National Insurance in the UK, pension in Nigeria, SSNIT in Ghana, NSSF, SHIF and the Housing Levy in Kenya, UIF in South Africa, and INSESO in Equatorial Guinea.
Finally the results are divided back into the pay period you choose, so you can see your take-home pay per hour, week or month. Use the print button to save your payslip as a PDF.

FAQ
Common questions
How do I work out my annual salary from an hourly rate?
Multiply your hourly rate by the hours you work each week, then by 52. For example, £15 an hour for 37.5 hours a week is £15 × 37.5 × 52 = £29,250 a year.
Why is my real payslip slightly different?
Payroll systems calculate tax period by period and may use a tax code, cumulative calculations, benefits, bonuses or other deductions. This tool shows the standard annual position spread evenly across the year.
Which countries are supported?
The United Kingdom, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Equatorial Guinea, using each country's current rates for employees.
Can I save or print my payslip?
Yes. Use the 'Print or save as PDF' button and choose 'Save as PDF' in your browser's print window.
