The challenge

MalaboEats needed a complete marketplace (ordering, payments, restaurant management and courier dispatch) that would stay reliable as order volumes grew and traffic spiked at peak mealtimes.

Our approach

  • Designed separate, focused experiences for diners, restaurant partners and couriers
  • Built an event-driven order pipeline so a slow restaurant or courier never blocks checkout
  • Added real-time order tracking and support for both mobile money and cards
  • Load-tested peak-hour scenarios before every major release
